Jasper Black

Welcome to Wildwood, Jasper Black! “BJ” is a true black herdsire who has three black and one maroon grandparents, just the kind of color we’re looking for in our breeding program.   He is not only a handsome male but also has a gentle and fun loving temperament. He hangs out with the younger males and can be seen playing with them despite the age difference. He does acrobatic tricks whenever the hose is turned on him and he has quickly stolen my heart.

Thistledown’s Kinross of CairngormARI#: 850922DOB: 11/9/2003Color: Light Rose GreyStatus: Proven

Kinross

This handsome boy has it all! Looks, fleece and personality! In September 2004, Kinross won a blue ribbon at his first show, the VA State Fair. He was officially color checked as rose grey, with black fibers in his blanket area, and the judge bemoaned the fact that he did not have more competition in his class! In his second show, the VA Classic, he was moved from the grey class to the multicolor class as a roan, coming away with a third. In his third show, he won his gray class and was Best of Winners. His fleece won a red ribbon, too. His sire Ben MacDhui is out of three time AOBA blue ribbon winner Request the Best, and a black dam with a grey pedigree going back three generations, including Wily Coyote, SA Silverado and The Silversmith. Kinross’ Dam, Rhiannon, is a full Peruvian daughter of the multiple award-winning Royal Peruvian Challenger, a rare dark rose grey macho with magnificent presence, nationally recognized fiber quality and conformation. Kinross has sired two nice crias for us - Spice and Jake - and passed on his wonderful disposition, conformation and staple length.Awards:1st halter: 2004 VA State Fair1st and best of winners: 2005 ABC Alpaca Show4th halter: 2005 Virginia Classic4th Showmanship: 2005 Caroline County Fair6th Grey Fleece: 2006 MAPACA Jubilee

 ION’s Jeremiah

DOB:  5/11/08

Color: Light Fawn

Incredibly Stylish Male - Density and great fleece character.  We bought Dark Thunder’s Eclipse bred to the impressive Peruvian Ion last year and had been anxiously awaiting her first cria.  We sure weren’t disappointed!  Born on a rainy day, Jeremiah has fleece that can best be described as buttery soft.  He is full of personality and quickly started leading the older crias around the fields and checks us out every time we come in the fence.  Cute dark nose.    Jeremiah has started his breeding career
