It’s another boy but that’s OK because he is a gorgeous black! Congrats to Baroness and Act II Knightrider on their second gorgeous cria, joining sister Jedda. First time we’ve repeated an identical breeding.![]()

4th Spring Cria Born
It’s another boy! Carinthia gave birth to her fifth baby, a 16 lb brown boy. All went well although she had been so huge we thought she’d either give birth to twins or an elephant. This little has fabulous fleece and a curious demeanor. This cria, now named Colby, has been adopted by Gabrielle.![]()

2nd Spring Cria Born
Kammie went into labor during Health Day and really was taking a long time. So we called the vet and as soon as we did, out popped the head and feet. Delivery proceeded just fine, with the result being a 17 lb brown boy with lots of curly fleece and beautiful eyebrows. We’ve named him Kenny and he has already been adopted by Evan.![]()

4th and Last Fall cria born
Congratulations to Atlaanta on the birth of her second daughter this morning. A big, dark brown girl came after 11 1/2 months. All four of the Fall crias are the gorgeous dark colors that we love. We had six crias this year, four female and two male, so are very happy. ![]()

Third Fall Cria Born
Jewel surprised us by delivering her cria two weeks earlier than we expected. It’s a boy, sired by Snowmass Black Diamond, a handsome bay black. Jewel is one of our best mothers on the farm and has given us three boys and one girl since we started. She delivered this one without any help and seemed to resent any assistance offered! Both are doing well.

First Fall Cria Born
Our wonderful foundation dam, Sabrina, never fails to give us a dark cria no matter who the sire is and this year was no exception. Two weeks early she delivered a smokey black male cria with long straight legs and white markings on his neck and chin. It is a fitting tribute to Sabrina’s mother, MFI Black Moon, whose nickname is Diamond because she is black with a white diamond on her neck. The sire is an Aga Khan fawn, Mada Vemi’s Amerikhan Legend. Nicknamed “Spot” this little boy is friendly and active, anxiously awaiting the arrival of the other four Fall crias to play with!
